Exciting birth story's and Music

In room 9 we are writing birth story's for little booklets of our own.We had to plan it and then write it. when we finished that, we published it on a nice copy and if we finished we would do another sheet of feedback.
We did birth story's because we want people to know more about us. Also when we are older we will still know what we were like when we were younger. We can keep going and filling it in. Other people can read it. Hopefully it's very special to us and our work is not wasted. It could be a life story! You could turn it into a special book of your own.

For music we did music with our body and we had a surprise instrument that sounded like rain. It was a rainmaker and could also sound like a rattle snake. We like music because it was fun and good for you. Music was interesting because of all the different sounds you can make.

Science With Miss Mitchell

On Thursday lunchtimes we have had a science club.
This gave us a chance to be mini scientists learning about
bugs,magic milk and oil spills.
This morning we learnt how difficult it was for bird life
in the event of an oil spill!

When a penguin is covered in oil they can not move and if they try to clean themselves they are poisoned. We used boomers, sponges and skimmers just to try to remove the oil from water, it was a very hard job!

Big Thanks To Miss Mitchell!
